Some thought morning haze meant "morning hey!" Others thought it meant Hay we feed to horses!  Discuss language at home!  Good thinking!

We are learing about scientists and what they do!  The students went out to observe our surroundings closely and ask questions.   Bryson found a spider on a tree.  We got reeeeallly close to see if it really has 8 legs.  We wondered why they are around brick and on trees?! We also found a spider sac near a spider and it's web. We discussed how animal babies are different.

I love this activity from Friday!  On Fridays, we often participate in a "problem solver".  The kids "attempt" the problem on their own and then...we get in groups to see how others solved.  ( I always make sure someone in the group solved correctly).  They share their thinking and they can change answers if they like the way someone else solved better!  This is Destiny who did a great job with make 6 groups of 10 to find the answer 60 in our problem solver.  At the end, everyone gets a treat that goes along with the learning... YES!  They are engaged learners!

Thanks to all our families for the information on our wonderings!  We now know how to make an aquarium!  We put sea animals in water and they expanded in our cup aquariums!  Thank you Gibson Family!
